This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) sets out the rules and restrictions that apply to your use of software, websites, or other digital products developed and delivered by Syntax Link Limited, as well as your access to and use of the syntax-link.co.uk website.

You may use Syntax Link's services and any software developed by us for lawful purposes only, in accordance with your Agreement and applicable law.
2. Prohibited activities
You must not use our services, website, or Deliverables to:
- Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right (including intellectual property rights).
- Transmit, store, or distribute any material that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
- Engage in fraudulent activity or impersonate any person or entity.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, network, server, or data.
- Introduce viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs, or any other malicious or harmful code.
- Conduct denial-of-service or distributed denial-of-service attacks.
- Collect or harvest any personally identifiable information without appropriate legal basis.
- Send unsolicited commercial communications (spam).
- Develop gambling, adult entertainment, or exploitative content platforms without prior written agreement with Syntax Link.
- Facilitate, promote, or assist any of the above.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for ensuring that all users who access any software we build for you comply with this AUP. You must not enable or encourage third parties to violate these terms.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your own accounts, credentials, and systems. Syntax Link is not liable for any breach or loss resulting from your failure to do so.
4. Monitoring and enforcement
Syntax Link reserves the right (but has no obligation) to monitor use of its website and services to ensure compliance with this AUP. We may investigate suspected violations and co-operate with law enforcement authorities where required.
In the event of a breach of this AUP, Syntax Link may without notice:
- Suspend or terminate access to our website or services.
- Remove or disable access to any content in breach of this policy.
- Take legal action against you.
- Report the breach to relevant regulatory or law enforcement authorities.
5. Reporting violations
If you become aware of a potential violation of this AUP, please report it to us at hello@syntax-link.co.uk.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this AUP from time to time. Continued use of our services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
