Syntax Link Limited is committed to making its website accessible to as many people as possible, regardless of technology or ability. This accessibility statement covers the website at syntax-link.co.uk.
1. Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA standard. These guidelines cover a wide range of recommendations for making web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including blindness and low vision, deafness and hearing loss, cognitive limitations, limited movement, speech disabilities, and photosensitivity.
2. Current accessibility status
We are working to make this website fully compliant with WCAG 2.2 AA. We have taken the following steps:
- Used semantic HTML elements throughout the site for logical document structure.
- Provided text alternatives for non-text content (alt text on images).
- Ensured sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds.
- Ensured all interactive elements are keyboard-accessible.
- Used ARIA labels and roles where appropriate to support assistive technologies.
- Ensured the site reflows correctly on small screens without horizontal scrolling.
- Ensured text can be resized up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.
3. Known limitations
We are aware of the following areas that may not yet be fully accessible, and we are working to address them:
- Some decorative video content does not have audio descriptions (as it contains no meaningful spoken or on-screen text).
- Some animated transitions may be distracting for users who prefer reduced motion. We plan to implement a
prefers-reduced-motionmedia query.
4. Feedback and contact
We welcome feedback on the accessibility of our website. If you experience any barriers, or need information in a different format, please contact us:
- Email: hello@syntax-link.co.uk

5. Enforcement
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) at equalityadvisoryservice.com.
The Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is responsible for enforcing the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No.2) Accessibility Regulations 2018. As a private company, those regulations do not apply to us — however, we are committed to meeting equivalent standards as a matter of good practice.
